Rib & Oyster was created by Gavin, a local Saundersfoot fisherman, who following the covid climate, started delivering fresh fish and shellfish to local homes in Pembrokeshire and Camarthenshire.
As demand grew, he opened a Butchers/Fishmongers in Kilgetty village, which now includes a small intimate Restaurant, serving quality produce prepared fresh for your enjoyment.
Rib & Oyster brings you traditional village shop quality, service and value.
Quality – We offer only the finest grass fed meat, free range poultry, and freshly caught fish and shellfish.
Service – As you step into the shop, you immediately feel the enthusiasm for what we sell and cook, we like our customers to leave with a smile.
Value – We don’t think highest quality should mean highest prices, so we concentrate on offering the best possible prices for the quality that we sell.
We are honoured to supply Marco Pierre White personally, as well as many other Michelin star restaurants around the country, which is testament to our products.
The Team
Proprietor Gavin has spent most of his working life working with freshly caught fish, including being skipper of his own commercial fishing boat, so he knows exactly what to look for when selecting the best quality for the shop.
Lucy manages the restaurant, with the help of Breagh, and Romi .
